Room available in spacious Avondale 3br/1ba

Looking for roommate to take over/sublease third bedroom in large 3br/1ba in Avondale. Our third roommate had to move out due to visa issues. Lease term would be now until the current lease runs out (6/30/25), with possibility of renewing after that.... Apartment is fully furnished besides the available bedroom. Rent is $741.67/month with a security deposit of $741.67. Utilities besides wi-fi are included in rent (wi-fi is $40/month per person). Communal window AC units for cooling, mixed radiator/forced air heat, ceiling fans in all rooms. Has dishwasher, free laundry in basement (multiple units, all work well). Beautiful shared backyard with porch. Bedroom includes walk-in closet. Plenty of street parking available on both Roscoe and Ridgeway. Apartment is 5 minute walk from Addison Blue Line stop (goes directly to UIC, the Loop, and O'Hare airport), in addition to Addison, Pulaski, Belmont, and Milwaukee buses. Short walk to many bars/restaurants in Avondale/Logan Square area. Several grocery stores and an outdoor mall with a Target less than a mile away; Walmart a short drive/bus ride away. Close proximity to I90/94 for car travel.

Current roommates include Adam, a UIC math PhD alum who works remotely in biotech and Brian, a current UIC PhD student in Russian Literature. We have two cats (prefer no more cats/dogs but tank pets would probably be fine). Prefer a roommate who is another grad/professional student or graduate, but open to other people as well. We believe in queer/trans rights and racial justice and would prefer to live with someone who shares these values.
